Abstract:
To provide a three-dimensional catalyst for exhaust emission control or the like which uses little amount of platinum elements, is excellent in exhaust emission control property, can be early risen in temperature to a catalyst active temperature and in which performance degradation due to catalyst poison included in exhaust gas is suppressed even when installed just blow an engine.SOLUTION: The three-dimensional catalyst for exhaust emission control is provided which comprises at least a catalyst carrier 11 and a catalyst layer 21. In the three-dimensional catalyst for exhaust emission control, the catalyst layer 21 has a lamination structure having at least a first catalyst layer L1, a second catalyst layer L2, and a third catalyst layer L3 in this order, the first catalyst layer L1 contains a first composite catalyst particle in which palladium is carried on a first base material particle, the second catalyst layer L2 contains a second composite catalyst particle in which rhodium is carried on a second base material particle, the third catalyst layer L3 contains a third composite catalyst particle in which palladium is carried on a third base material particle, and total coated amount Wt of the catalyst layers L1, L2, and L3 (excluding platinum elements included in each catalyst layer) is 110 g/L to 225 g/L in total per volume of the catalyst carrier 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
