Abstract:
To provide a technology capable of preventing a processing load of a communication apparatus from being unnecessarily increased, by appropriately determining a wireless network to which the communication apparatus should belong.SOLUTION: A printer 10, when it is determined that an SSID "YYY" in a Probe Req. signal received from a terminal apparatus 50 agrees with an SSID "YYY" in a memory (YES at T18), shifts an operation state of the printer 10 from a state of not belonging to a substitute SoftAPNW to a state of a master station for the substitute SoftAPNW (T22). The printer 10, then, forms the substitute SoftAPNW to which both of the printer 10 as the master station, and the terminal apparatus 50 as a slave station, belong (T36 to T40). Meanwhile, when it is determined that the SSID "YYY" in the Probe Req. signal received from the terminal apparatus 50 disagrees with the SSID "YYY" in the memory 34 (NO at T18), the operation state of the printer 10 is kept in the state of not belonging to the substitute SoftAPNW.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
