Abstract:
To provide a propeller shaft which can suppress a stick slip.SOLUTION: A propeller shaft 1 comprises a first hollow shaft 10 in which male spline teeth 11 are formed at an external peripheral face, and a second hollow shaft 20 which is engaged with the male spline teeth 11, and in which female spline teeth 21 capable of sliding to an axial direction are formed at an internal peripheral face. Grease is charged into a space which is formed of the first hollow shaft 10 and the second hollow shaft 20, a piston part which co-moves together with the first hollow shaft 10 or the second hollow shaft 20 is arranged in a hollow part of the first hollow shaft 10, and a clearance for permitting the movement of the grease to a fore-and-aft direction of the piston part when the second hollow shaft 20 moves to an axial direction with respect to the first hollow shaft 10 is formed between the hollow part and the piston part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
