Abstract:
To provide an insulated wire with insulation coating of which the insulation thickness is different in a lengthwise direction and which is excellent in dimension accuracy of the insulation thickness.SOLUTION: An insulated wire used for a coil attachable to a stator is provided with: a conductor; and insulation coating which is provided in an outer periphery of the conductor, and constituted of an insulation layer containing thermoset resin. The insulation coating has: a first insulation coating part which is a part to be arranged inside a core of the stator; and a second insulation coating part which is locally provided at a part in the lengthwise direction of the conductor with a thickness larger than that of the first insulation coating part, and is a part to be arranged at a coil end of the stator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
