Abstract:
To provide a driving device that can generate a great force while restraining an increase in device weight.SOLUTION: A driving device 1 comprises a motor driving part MD capable of moving a movable part 20 in a predetermined direction by using output of a servomotor 30, an air cylinder driving part AD capable of moving the movable part 20 in the predetermined direction by using output of an air cylinder 40, and a control unit for controlling the motor driving part MD and the air cylinder driving part AD.
