Abstract:
To facilitate hardening of a liquid gasket to exert adhesive force while suppressing an increase in man-hour and cost.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine includes: a first member attached to the internal combustion engine; a second member to be combined with and facing the first member; a first member-side boss formed protrusively toward the second member on a surface of the first member facing the second member; a second member-side boss formed protrusively toward the first member on a surface of the second member facing the first member; and a liquid gasket disposed between the first member-side boss and the second member-side boss. Further, the first member-side boss has a screw hole. The second member-side boss reaches from an outer wall of the second member to the liquid gasket and has a communication hole into which a fastening bolt fastened to the screw hole is inserted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
