Abstract:
To provide a calibration method of a gyro sensor for maintaining the high measurement accuracy of the gyro sensor.SOLUTION: In the calibration method of the gyro sensor mounted on the vehicle 5 in order to measure the angular velocity in the rotational direction that occurs around the vertical axis, the lateral displacement amount that detects the lateral displacement amount of the vehicle 5 with respect to the magnetic marker 10U/D laid on the road when the vehicle 5 passes through the laying location where the two magnetic markers 10U/D are laid, the direction of the vehicle 5 is determined by calculation processing using the amount of lateral deviation with respect to the two magnetic markers 10U/D as input values and a direction estimation process to estimate the calibration process to calibrate the gyro sensor using the direction of the vehicle 5 estimated by the direction estimation process are performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
