Abstract:
To provide a glass filter which has high collection efficiency and has improved filter performance in the glass filter provided with a main filtration layer having a basis weight of 30 g/mor less.SOLUTION: A glass filter includes a main filtration layer which contains glass fiber as constituent fiber and has a basis weight of 30 g/mor less. Therein, the main filtration layer includes a fine glass fiber of which an average fiber diameter is 0.50 μm or less and a thick glass fiber of which an average fiber diameter is larger than that of the fine glass fiber and a percentage of mass of the fine glass fiber occupying in mass of the fine glass fiber and the thick glass fiber is larger than 40 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
