Abstract:
To provide an actuator which can expand the displacement of a piezoelectric element by simple control and configuration.SOLUTION: An actuator 10 comprises: an actuator main body 20 having a first chamber 21 and a second chamber 22 which communicate with each other therein; a pressurization plate 30 for making the inside of the first chamber 21 displaceable; a piston 40 for making the inside of the second chamber 22 displaceable; a working fluid 60 sealed in a space 23 which is closed between the pressurization plate 30 and the piston 40 in the actuator main body 20; and a piezoelectric element 50 located outside the pressurization plate 30, and making the pressurization plate 30 displaceable by being displaced by the application of a voltage. In the first chamber 21, an area of a cross section orthogonal to a displacement direction of the pressurization plate 30 is larger than an area of a cross section orthogonal to a displacement direction of the piston 40 of the second chamber 22, and a displacement amount of the piston 40 with respect to a displacement amount of the piezoelectric element 50 is changed according to an area ratio between the cross sections of the first chamber 21 and the second chamber 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
