Abstract:
To provide a control valve and a manufacturing method of the control valve each of which allows for improvement of sealability and slidability of a valve element while reducing working man-hour in manufacturing the valve element.SOLUTION: A solenoid valve includes a housing forming a valve chest, a cylindrical valve element 7 disposed in the valve chest in a transitionable manner between an open state and a closed state, and a supporting part slidably supporting the valve element 7 in the valve chest. One of a pair of end surfaces of the valve element 7 is a seat surface 77 closing a downstream-side valve port communicated with the valve chest. An outer surface 76 of the valve element 7 includes a sliding surface 78 sliding on an inner surface of the supporting part and a connection surface 79 connecting the seat surface 77 and the slide surface 78 to each other. The valve element 7 is molded with a resin to have a skin layer 81 forming the outer surface 76 and a core layer 82 disposed inside the skin layer 81. The connection surface 79 of the valve element 7 includes a core-exposed part 74a in which the core layer 82 is exposed without being covered by the skin layer 81 to thereby form a part of the outer surface 76.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
