To provide an optical fiber cable with intermittent tape cores gathered at high density while twisting the single-core coated optical fiber while ensuring workability.SOLUTION: In k-core, l-core, and m-core consisting of a multi-core optical fiber continuously adjacent in the width direction of an intermittent tape core 140, the intermittent tape core 140 of the optical fiber cable is gathered in the cable core such that a difference θ between the k-core twisting direction D2at a bonding portion 142 connecting the k-core and the l-core and the k-core twisting direction D2at the bonding portion 142 connecting the k-core and the m-core is different from that at the point of production.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3B
