Abstract:
To provide a configuration capable of stirring a toner by moving a member for moving a sealing member during image formation while using the sealing member (sealing section) which does not need to weld to a periphery or the like of the opening.SOLUTION: A developer storage unit used for an image formation device performing image forming operation has a frame body and a sealing unit. The frame body includes a developer storage chamber for storing a developer and an opening for discharging the developer from the developer storage chamber. The sealing unit includes: a shaft member capable of rotating around a rotation axis; and a sealing section mounted on the shaft member, which is the sealing section compressed by the shaft member and the frame body to seal the opening. The sealing unit can rotate to a closing position where the sealing section seals the opening, a first opening position where the opening is opened, and a second opening position where the opening is opened. The sealing unit reciprocates between the first opening position and the second opening position during image forming operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
