To provide an optical waveguide-forming photosensitive epoxy resin composition which can be used as an optical waveguide-forming material with superior heat-resistant colorability, patternability, and R-to-R compatibility (superior flexibility of uncured resin).SOLUTION: An optical waveguide-forming photosensitive epoxy resin composition is provided, containing an epoxy resin component and an optical cationic polymerization initiator, the epoxy resin component containing a tri- or higher functional epoxy resin having a bisphenol A skeleton.SELECTED DRAWING: None
