Abstract:
To provide a coagulation sedimentation device capable of preventing discharge of a low-concentration sludge at the start of the coagulation sedimentation device that a water to be treated flows in a portable type coagulation sedimentation device or in a coagulation sedimentation device in such a state that each coagulation tank is filled with water, and to provide a start method for the coagulation sedimentation device.SOLUTION: A coagulation sedimentation device 1 comprises: a first coagulation tank 2 coagulation-treating a raw water by a first coagulant; a second coagulation tank 3 coagulation-treating a first coagulation treatment water by a second coagulant and a precipitation accelerator; a precipitation tank 4 precipitation-separating a second coagulation treatment water into a treatment water and slurry; and a cyclone 20 separating the slurry extracted from the precipitation tank 4 into a separated sludge and the precipitation accelerator to return the separated precipitation accelerator to the second coagulation tank 3. The coagulation sedimentation device 1 is characterized by comprising a controller 30 controlling switch means to switch so as to return the separated sludge from the cyclone 20 to the first coagulation tank 2 at the start of the coagulation sedimentation device 1 and to discharge at least a part of the separated sludge from the cyclone 20 after the completion of start.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
