Abstract:
To improve rigidity of a lock arm by reducing a length of the lock arm while effectively suppressing generation of a sink or a void when molding a front holder which is mounted to a housing.SOLUTION: A connector 1 comprises: a housing 2 including a terminal accommodation chamber 23; and a front holder 5 which is mounted from a front side in a fitting direction to the housing 2 and configured to be non-movable from a temporary lock position to a final lock position when a terminal inserted into the terminal accommodation chamber 23 is located at a halfway insertion position, and movable from the temporary lock position to the final lock position when the terminal is located at a regular insertion position. The housing 2 includes a projection support part 26 in which a first lock part 27 is formed. The front holder 5 includes a lock arm 54 in which a second lock part 58 which is locked with the first lock part 27 to lock the front holder 5 at the temporary lock position is formed and which extends from a base part 53 of the front holder 5 in a fitting direction. A recess 60 which is recessed in the fitting direction is formed at a position in the vicinity of a root part of the lock arm 54 in the base part 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
