Abstract:
To provide a method for reliably and physically preventing passengers from entering an elevator car when the doors are opened and closed during the automatic diagnostic operation of the elevator.SOLUTION: The automatic diagnosis method for elevators according to the present invention is for collecting the operation status of a human-detecting sensor for lighting the elevator entrance with a human-detecting sensor monitoring device based on the information of earthquake occurrence by an earthquake sensor, comprising the steps for performing earthquake low-speed diagnostic operation, diagnostic operation to stop on each floor, high-speed diagnostic operation, and door opening/closing diagnostic operation with an elevator control unit, wherein if the presence of a person at the elevator entrance is detected on the basis of the operation status of the human-detecting sensor for lighting that is transmitted from the human-detecting sensor monitoring device, the door opening/closing diagnostic operation on the floor where the presence of a person is detected is skipped, and the door opening/closing diagnostic operation of the skipped floor is carried out after completion of the door opening/closing diagnostic operation of the floor where no one is present.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
