Abstract:
To provide an organic wastewater treatment device that reuses a conventional biological treatment tank and nevertheless can carry out a uniform biological treatment without requiring upsizing of an airlift pump or the like, and a method of reconstructing an organic wastewater treatment device.SOLUTION: The organic wastewater treatment device comprising an oxygen free tank 30 formed in a shape of having a pair of long sides and a pair of short sides in a plan view, and an aerobic tank 40 formed in a shape of having a pair of long sides and a pair of short sides in a plan view with a membrane separation device 50 immersed therein, which oxygen free tank 30 and aerobic tank 40 are disposed in such a manner that one long side of the former and one long side of the latter are disposed adjacent to each other, is characterized by comprising a plurality of denitrified liquid transfer means 34 distributed across the long side to transfer activated sludge from the oxygen free tank 30 to the aerobic tank 40 and a plurality of nitrification liquid transfer means 43 distributed across the long side to transfer activated sludge from the aerobic tank 40 to the oxygen free tank 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
