Abstract:
To suppress the rise of temperature in the base material of a splitter, and to suppress the generation of oxidation corrosion.SOLUTION: A combustion burner comprises: a fuel nozzle 18 jetting a fuel gas obtained by mixing a fuel and air into a furnace; a combustion air nozzle blowing air into the furnace from the circumference of the fuel nozzle 18; a flame retainer 3 disposed at the inside of the fuel nozzle 18, and having a width made higher as it goes to a furnace side edge face of the fuel nozzle 18; and a rectification part 4 disposed on an extended line on the upstream side in a fuel gas flow direction with respect to the flame retainer 3. The flame retainer 3 includes: a base material; an inclined part 8 provided at the base material, including an inclined surface formed so as to project from a position on the upstream side of the furnace side edge face of the base material toward the furnace side edge face of the fuel nozzle 18, and formed so as to project more than the furnace side edge face of the base material; and a cover part 9 connected with the inclined part 8 and covering the furnace side edge face of the base material. The inclined part 8 and the cover part 9 are made of ceramic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
