Abstract:
To prevent bulkiness in a thickness direction of a lid in a lid lock mechanism that is provided with a pair of rods that is retractable from a hook part of an interior member as a control knob is operated, and a pinion gear synchronizing advancement/retraction of the pair of rods.SOLUTION: A lid lock mechanism 20 with which a lid 4 is assembled so that an opening formed in an interior member of a vehicle is openable/closable and which can lock the lid so that the lid can be locked in the state that the opening is closed includes: a control knob 33 assembled with the lid 4; a pair of rods 40, 50 which are retractable from a hook part of the interior member as the control knob 33 is operated; and a pinion gear 61 synchronizing advancement/retraction of the pair of rods 40, 50. The overlapping direction of the pair of rods 40, 50 and the pinion gear 61 is set parallel to the surface direction of the lid 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
