Abstract:
To provide a vehicle window glass with an optical device capable of: eliminating distortion derived from an irregularity generated on a boundary between a shield layer of the vehicle window glass and a region inside the shield layer; widening a range usable by an optical element; and being easily manufactured.SOLUTION: A tabular translucent member 5 is adhered to a vehicle inner side of a light transmission region 20 of a vehicle window glass 2 via a light transmission adhesive. A total thickness of thicknesses of the tabular translucent member 5 and the light transmission adhesive 4 is 50% or less of thickness of the vehicle window glass 2. A portion having a length of 2 mm or less, of a gap between an outer edge of the tabular translucent member 5 and an inner edge of the shield layer 6 accounts for 40% or more with respect to an entire outer periphery of the tabular translucent member 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
