Abstract:
To provide non-heat treated forged steel having high strength and excellent manufacturability, and furthermore excellent machinability, and non-heat treated forged product having high strength.SOLUTION: Provided is a non-heat treated forged steel satisfying a predetermined component composition, and having an average composition of all oxide-based inclusion having a circle equivalent diameter of 5 μm or larger satisfying the following formulas (1) to (4). [CaO]/[SiO2]≥0.45 (1), [Al2O3]/[SiO2]≥0.30 (2), [MgO]/[SiO2]≥0.02 (3), and [TiO2]/([SiO2]+[CaO]+[Al2O3]+[MgO]+[TiO2])>0.05 (4), in the above formulas (1) to (4), [CaO], [SiO2], [Al2O3], [MgO], and [TiO2] each shows a value by converting a total content of (Ca, Si, Al, Mg, Ti) contained in the all oxide-based inclusion to oxide of each element in terms of mass.SELECTED DRAWING: None
