Abstract:
To provide an adhesive composition with a sufficiently large ratio between the shear strength and the peel strength, and a method for increasing the value of the ratio between the shear bond strength and the peel strength.SOLUTION: The adhesive composition comprises cellulose nanofiber, and has a ratio between the shear bond strength and the peel strength (shear bond strength/peel strength) greater than or equal to 50. Preferably, the cellulose nanofiber has a fiber diameter of 4 to 500 nm, and an aspect ratio greater than or equal to 10, and is contained in an amount of 0.01 to 20 mass% based on the total mass of the adhesive composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
