Abstract:
To provide a stabilizer bush of a novel structure which can resolve at least one of inherent problems of a conventional stabilizer bush.SOLUTION: In a stabilizer bush 10 which is composed of half-split elastic bodies 18, 20 where semicircular-arc shaped intermediate plate metal fittings 24a, 24b are embedded and is adhered to a stabilizer bar 12 so that peripheral direction both end surfaces 30, 32 are abutted to each other, the intermediate plate metal fittings 24a, 24b are embedded in the half split elastic bodies 18, 20 in an axial direction, and corners at an end in the axial direction in the peripheral direction end surfaces 30, 32 of the half-split elastic bodies 18, 20 are provided with notch shaped recesses 44 that extend in a radial direction of the half-split elastic bodies 18, 20 and open on an inner peripheral surface. In the recesses 44, corner parts B at the end in the axial direction at the peripheral direction end parts of the intermediate plate metal fittings 24a, 24b are exposed. In the recesses 44, bottom corner parts A extending in the radial direction of the half-split elastic bodies 18, 20 have inner surface shapes 44 in the shape of curved recesses.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
