Abstract:
To provide a ball joint capable of improving a holding effect for a ball sheet in a housing and also capable of being manufactured efficiently.SOLUTION: A ball joint 10 comprises: a ball stud 12 having a ball part 20; a ball sheet 13 that rotatably holds the ball part 20; and a cylindrical housing 14 that internally receives the ball sheet 13 holding the ball part 20. The housing 14 has: an opening part 34 formed at one end part in an axial direction; a bent part 36 bent from a predetermined position in the axial direction to the one end part where the opening part 34 is located; and a rough surface machined part 42 formed on an inner peripheral surface 33 from a predetermined position to the one end where the opening part 34 is located, and bitten into the outer surface of the ball sheet 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
