Abstract:
To provide a jib overhanging device to make works of a tension rod retainer easier.SOLUTION: A jib overhanging device comprises: a tension rod, one end of which is rotatably connected to a jib rotatably connected to a boom head installed at a tip of a derrickable boom mounted on a running vehicle body; and a tension rod retainer to hold the tension rod. The other end of the tension rod is rotatably connected to a boom link rotatably supported by the boom head when the jib is used. A tension rod retainer is attached to the jib. The boom extends toward the front of the running vehicle body. At least a part of the tension rod retainer is located in the front side of the running vehicle body with respect to the front end of the running vehicle body, and is located on the front side of the jib from the base end of the jib when the jib is in a state ready for use where the jib is rotatably connected to the boom head.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
