Abstract:
To provide a method for diagnosing degradation of a flange-type flexible coupling, the method enabling wear amount of a bush of the flange-type flexible coupling to be quickly, quantitatively and visually measured from the outside without requiring disassembling of the flange-type flexible coupling and removing the bush.SOLUTION: The method for quantitatively and visually measuring wear amount of a bush inside a flange-type flexible coupling is provided in which visible scales are beforehand attached to outer circumferential surfaces of flange portions of both the flange-type flexible coupling, positions of the scales are read so that the wear amount of the bush is quantitatively measured, and thus the degradation of flange-type flexible coupling is diagnosed on the basis of the measured values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
