Abstract:
To provide a chip mounting structure in which fixing strength of a chip of a chip-attachable/detachable chip saw suitable for cutting a hard material is enhanced.SOLUTION: In a chip mounting structure of a chip saw, in which a number of chips 1 are mounted at a predetermined interval on a blade 2 as a tool main body and the chips 1 are press-fitted and fixed to a receiving groove 16 at the blade 2 side corresponding to the chips 1, a deformed part 12b plastically deformed by press-fitting of at least a portion of a leg part 12a protrudingly formed at a mounting surface side of the chip 1 into the receiving groove 16 is formed and is locked to the blade 2 side removably, where a slit 11 into which the blade 2 is inserted is provided at the mounting surface side of the chip 1 and the downward-facing leg part 12a is protrudingly arranged in the slit 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
