Abstract:
To provide a technology for maintaining a towing state even in the automatic parking of a trailer and enabling parking which can be easily checked by a driver, and which is safe and highly convenient.SOLUTION: An electric self-propelled trailer capable of traveling while automatically following a towing vehicle without mechanical connection includes: detection means for detecting a surrounding situation; recognition means for recognizing a parking space on the basis of the detection result of the detection means; movement control means for moving the trailer to the parking space; and instruction means for transmitting, to the towing vehicle, a follow-up instruction to make the towing vehicle follow the trailer moving to the parking space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
