Abstract:
To provide a method for treating an individual having attenuated leptin activity and a lipid storage disorder.SOLUTION: A method for therapy of at least one of attenuated leptin activity and a lipid storage disorder includes elevating, in a subject in need thereof, an amount of at least one oxygenated cholesterol sulfate, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the elevating is sufficient to treat or alleviate symptoms of at lease one of attenuated leptin activity and a lipid storage disorder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A-D
