Title:
MODIFIED NANOMATERIAL AND APPLICATION THEREOF IN ANTIMONY-CONTAINING WASTEWATER TREATMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2021074708
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide an iron-based nanomaterial that improves the removal effect for Sb(V) in antimony-containing wastewater treatment.SOLUTION: Provided is a modified nanomaterial that contains a nano-zero-valent iron and a stabilizer and in which the nano-zero-valent iron is modified by the stabilizer, the stabilizer uses either starch or polyethylene glycol, the stabilizer is modified with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid and malic acid, the mass ratio of the modified starch or modified polyethylene glycol and the nano-zero-valent iron is 0.05 to 0.3: 1, and advantageously and preferably is 0.05: 1, 0.06: 1, 0.1: 1, 0.15: 1, 0.3: 1, and the like. The coexisting anions CO32- and PO43-are apt to suppress the adsorption of nano-zero-valent iron to antimony (Sb), especially to Sb (V).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
