Abstract:
To prevent short-circuiting between turns of a superconducting coil by discovering an insulation deteriorated portion that is generated when surface pressure is applied to a tape-shaped oxide superconducting wire on which an insulating coating layer is formed.SOLUTION: In an insulation inspection method of an oxide superconducting wire 1 including a superconducting laminate in which an oxide superconducting layer is arranged on a tape-shaped substrate, and an insulating coating layer that covers the outer surface of the superconducting laminate, a voltage is applied between the superconducting laminate and at least one of a first metal body 50 and a second metal body 60, and the presence or absence of an insulation deteriorated portion of the insulating coating layer is determined in a state in which the first metal body 50 is pressed against the one surface 20 side of the oxide superconducting wire 1 and the second metal body 60 is pressed against the other surface 30 side of the oxide superconducting wire 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
