Abstract:
To provide a microlaser light source that allows free space coupling of light inside and outside a WGM resonator.SOLUTION: A microlaser light source according to the present invention includes a translucent droplet 10 having a circumferential region in which standing waves with visible or near-infrared wavelengths can exist, and nanoparticles 20 located in the droplet 10 and capable of binding to a standing wave mode, and the nanoparticles 20 consist of at least one of gold, silver, aluminum, copper, platinum, and transition metal nitrides, and includes a fluorescent dye in a band including the wavelengths of visible light or near infrared rays, which is dissolved in the droplet 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
