Abstract:
To provide a catheter which can be easily inserted into a support catheter in delivering the catheter into a blood vessel by using a guiding catheter and the support catheter.SOLUTION: A leading-end tip 100 comprises an intermediate portion 101 and a front portion 103 that is positioned on the leading end side of the intermediate portion 101. The diameter of the front portion 103 is larger than the diameter of the intermediate portion 101 but smaller than the inner diameter of the support catheter. The diameter of the front portion 103 is larger than the difference between the inner diameter of the guiding catheter, into which the support catheter is inserted, and the outer diameter of the support catheter. The leading end of a shaft portion 151 protrudes on the leading end side of the front portion 103.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
