Abstract:
To provide a technique enabling effective removal of ink adhered to a boundary portion between an ejection surface and a head side-surface in an ejection head.SOLUTION: An inkjet device comprises: an ejection head 421 that ejects ink toward a base material that is conveyed in a predetermined conveying direction; a contact member 58 that can contact an outer surface of the ejection head 421; and a head moving mechanism that moves the contact member 58 between a contact position at which the contact member contacts the outer surface of the ejection head 421 and a separate position at which the contact member separates from the outer surface of the ejection head 421, relatively with respect to the ejection head 421. The outer surface of the ejection head 421 includes an ejection surface 425 directing downward in a vertical direction, a head side-surface 427 directing to one side (a +Y side) in the conveying direction, and a boundary portion 431 between the ejection surface 425 and the head side-surface 427, which extends in an X-direction crossing the conveying direction.
