Abstract:
PURPOSE:To allow the connection of line at any time from a terminal equipment or an opposite host computer by managing the operating state of its own station subscriber line, using an idle line having a call attribute for a call so as to ensure the idle line in advance for an incoming call. CONSTITUTION:An outgoing/incoming means 6 receiving a call request from an on-line program 3 applies assignment request of its own station subscriber line used for the call to its own station subscriber line management means 6. In receiving the signal, the its own station subscriber line management means 6 uses an its own station subscriber line management table 7 to bring the operating state of the own station subscriber line to level 1 for the assignment of it to the means 5 only when its own station subscriber line having O or IO in its outgoing/incoming attribute and having 0 level in its operating state exists and to reject the request assignment in other cases. When the assignment request is rejected by its own station subscriber line management means 6, the outgoing/ incoming means 5 rejects the call request of the on-line program 3. Moreover, when its own station subscriber line is assigned, the call is sent through its own station subscriber line.
