Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suitably utilize a network and to guarantee the quality of communication without fail by calculating average transmission velocity (AVE) intrinsic for each communication medium in advance in respect to the communication medium and using the AVE corresponding to the communication medium of a call executing a call setting request as the AVE of a declared value. CONSTITUTION:The representative value of a traffic characteristic for the communication medium is prepared in a table 200 as the AVE in respect to the communication medium. When such a table 200 is prepared at a terminal 101, in order to set a call, the terminal 101 takes out the AVE corresponding to the communication medium of the call, which is generated from the terminal 101, from a table 100 (200) and declares this AVE to a call controller 103 together with the call setting request and the call controller 103 receiving the call setting request determines possibility for setting the call. Thus, almost exact call setting control is enabled, the desired quality of a user can be guaranteed without fail and the suitable use efficiency of the network can be obtained.
