Abstract:
PURPOSE:To find easily an objective document by providing a document header read buffer where document header information of each document is stored and a document header information stack buffer. CONSTITUTION:A document retrieval processing part 6 reads the document header of each document into a document header buffer 7 and compares it with document header data in a buffer 7 corresponding to a retrieval key set item, and information of this item is stocked in a preserving buffer 8, and information is displayed on a display unit 2. For example, when the control is transferred from the processing part 6 to a retrieval end processing part 9 by the end of retrieval to all documents of a certain medium, the processing part 9 displays retrieval results on the unit 2 and performs the processing corresponding to the response input of a user. Thus, the objective document is found from many documents easily in a short time.
