Abstract:
PURPOSE:To automatically perform the change-over between a normal fluoroscopy and a high X-ray density fluoroscopy by controlling the density of radiated X-rays in accordance with the positional relationship between a geometric position on a fluoroscopic image object and an interesting point on the object, and by adjusting the amount of incident light in accordance with the density of X-rays. CONSTITUTION:A patient bed 9 is moved so as to set a heart on an object 2 at the center of a viewing field I.I.4. The fluoroscopy is started from an insertion part of a catheter, and accordingly, the bed 9 is moved and traced while confirming the forward end of the catheter. At this time, a signal S1 indicating a distance between the viewing field of the present fluoroscopic image and the heart on the object 2 is transmitted to a control device 15 which accordingly receives the signal S1 and delivers a pulse signal S2 for normal fluoroscopy if the viewing field of the present fluoroscopic image is a part which does not require a fine catheter manipulation, but delivers a signal S3 for high density X-ray fluoroscopy if it is a part which requires a fine catheter manipulation. Thereafter, the signal S3 is delivered to an X-ray generator 1 so as to control the density of X-rays. Coping with this operation, the amount of light incident upon a TV camera is controlled to be a substantially constant value.
