Abstract:
PURPOSE:To impart lightweight, damping and soundproof to a film on the steel panel of a car body, by applying and forming a restriction layer restricting the extension and contraction of a base layer having viscoelasticity on the base layer. CONSTITUTION:Electrodeposition painting is applied to the steel panel of a car body to form an electrodeposition painted panel 1 and floor back-face paint composed of vinyl chloride type paint is used to form a thick base layer 2 with a thickness of about 1500mum on the upper surface of the painted panel 1 and a restriction layer 3 with a thickness of about 80-100mum is formed on the base layer 2. The restriction layer 3 is formed using paint prepared by dispersing a scaly filler 4 such as mica in polyester paint or emulsion paint high in rigidity as topcoat paint corresponding to the material quality of the base layer 2.
