Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve expediency by displaying a mark which becomes a scale corresponding to the length of a curve simultaneously while the curve is being displayed by a temporary display means. CONSTITUTION:A user selects the plotted curve by abutting an input pen 11 with an input tablet 20 in a window. When the input pen 11 is abutted with the tablet 20, etc., in such a state, point coordinates at an abutted position correspond to that on a plotted line uniquely, which is fetched in a CPU 102, and a selected curve is plotted sequentially based on inputted position coordinate information, and also, the curve plotted last time is erased sequentially. A visual mark as the scale corresponding to the length of the plotted curve is displayed with a prescribed interval. In such a way, it is possible to visualize the length of the curve displayed temporarily, which improves the expediency.
