Abstract:
PURPOSE:To process at high speed by dedicated hardware, parallel processing and so on by processing with combining the basic technique of picture processing such a a sum of products operation, a threshold value processing, an interpicture operation and so on also on the diagram of any form when diagrams are classified by line width. CONSTITUTION:A linear diagram is classified by line width with combining the basic picture processing technique of a convolution integrating part to convolution-integrate the picture data of a drawing read by a computer with a load matrix, a threshold processing part to define a picture element value less than a defined threshold value as 0 and an interpicture operating part to execute an arithmetic operation with picture element correspondence between the two pieces of picture data. The convolution integrating is executed by the load matrix for contraction of which a center part consists of a positive value in a concentric circular shape and of which a peripheral part consists of a negative value and the drawing picture data, and the load matrix for expansion of which the center part is the positive value and that the value is closed to 0 as it separates from the center and a sum of products operation with the drawing picture data. Thus, classification is executed with high accuracy and high speed and processing attained by making into hardware or parallel calculation.
