Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic wire material, having large Barkhausen effect, generating a pulse by tension and twisting by a method wherein the title wire material is chemically composed of a specific quantity of Ni and M (provided that M consists of the transition metal other than Fe and Ni) and the remaining part consisting of iron. CONSTITUTION:In the material with which a pulse is induced by large Barkhausen effect, chemical composition is composed of 5 to 25wt.% of Ni, 0-10wt.% (exclusive of 0) of M (M indicates the transition metal other than Fe and Ni), and the remaining part consisting of Fe. For example, an alloy, composed of 10wt.%, Cu of 3wt.% and the remaining part consisting of Fe, is vacuum-dissolved, and it is formed into a wire material of 5mmphi by conducting a hot processing. This wire material is drawnwith a die to have about 0.3mmphi. Then, a twisting is given to the wire material 30 times (from left or right direction) while the tension of 10kg/mm2 is being applied to both ends of the wire material of 20cm long, and it is fixed by resin. Then, when the AC magnetic field of 70 [Oe] and 1 to 100(Hz), pulse voltage is induced.
