PURPOSE:To obtain a compact, low-cost speech reproduction device which can alter speech information and keep secrecy by overlapping a storage element on a speech synthesizing element in a vertical direction and molding the memory integrated speech module with a sealing material including a speech information transmission path. CONSTITUTION:The storage element 3 and speech synthesizing element 2 are of nearly the same size and the arrangement direction of both the LSIs is so determined that corresponding signal pins of the speech information address transmission circuit 5, speech information transmission path 4, etc., of both the LSIs are closest to each other in the vertical direction. At this time, signal patterns on the front and reverse surfaces of a printed circuit board 1 can easily and vertically be connected through through holes of the printed circuit board 1. Then the memory LSI in which speech information is written is mounted on the front surface of the printed circuit board 1 and the whole speech synthesizing module including the speech information transmission path 4 for reading the speech information out is molded with the sealing material 6 such as epoxy resin so as to keep the circuit secrecy and protect the copyright of the speech information.
