Abstract:

To provide a small diameter, commercially excellent camera for a well allowing to pass through clearances between the inner peripheral wall of the well and the pipes inside the well.

This camera device for the well is used to visually investigate the inside of the well 1. The device comprises a camera device 2 having a camera part 5 for catching an image installed thereon, a moving device 3 for moving the camera device 2 in the well 1, and a monitor 4 for displaying images captured by the camera device 2. The viewing direction of the camera part 5 is set in the longitudinal direction of the well 1, and a mirror part 6 is installed in the viewing direction of the camera part 5. The mirror part 6 is so formed as to reflect an image of the inner peripheral wall of the well 1 to the camera part 5.
