Abstract:
The improvements relate to a system used to tune musical instruments, as well as to a new configuration of the mouthpiece, and to a process for fabricating certain revolution parts. The tuning system is based in the mounting of a telescopic length (8) between the outlet elbow (5) which emerges from the corresponding machine (3) of the instrument and the respective bell which, together with the elbow (5), form the air outlet horn (7). The telescopic length which provides for the lengthening of the horn and, consequently the sound tube of the instrument, may be displaced by means of a manually actuable rod which can be used to achieve a general tuning by rotation of such rod and a independent tuning of each of the notes by axial displacement of the rod. According to another improvement, the mouthpiece of the musical instrument is comprised of three independent parts which may be coupled to each other, thereby making them interchangeable. The process for obtaining predetermined revolution parts of the musical instrument comprises the helical rolling of a wire on a mold, with the shape of the part to be obtained, and fixing together the turns of the wire by means of any conventional system.
