Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect a residual content of a battery by correcting the residual content without allowing the battery to be fully charged or completely discharged. SOLUTION: An operation circuit of the residual content of the battery comprises a current integration circuit 4 for calculating the residual content by integrating a charge and a discharge current in a battery 3, a memory circuit for memorizing a voltage-residual content relation, which is the residual content determined by a parameter of the voltage of the battery 3 under a constant current state, and a residual content correction circuit 5 for detecting a correction residual content from the voltage-residual content relation memorized in the memory circuit 2 upon finding of the constant current state in the battery 3 after detection of the current in the battery 3. According to the operation circuit, when the current in the battery 3 becomes constant at a prescribed time, the residual correction circuit 5 detects the correction residual content from the voltage-residual content relation memorized in the memory circuit 2, and corrects the residual content detected by the current integration circuit 4, using the above correction residual content.
