Abstract:
A cover band (3) inserts into a longitudinal groove (4) in a safety rail (1), fits with its outer surface in the safety rail's wiper surface (9) and has two holding strips for fastening that stretch in the longitudinal direction of the safety rail and fit inside the longitudinal groove on the side groove walls. The cover is made up of an outer layer (5) acting as a top layer and an inner layer (6) acting as a layer with changing dimensions.
