To easily manufacture a value-added, porous glass molded product which shows electroconductivity and fluorescence using waste glass as a main raw material to promote recycling of the waste glass.
The glass molded product is manufactured by depositing an inorganic powder such as volcanic ash on the surface of glass cullet formed by crushing the waste glass such as colored bottles using a depositing means, mixing particulate matters of metal and a luminous material into the glass cullet, putting the glass cullet into a mold and baking the glass cullet at 700-800°C. This enables deposition of needle crystals on the surface of the glass which strongly unifies the glass particles while leaving gaps and seals the particulate matters within the glass molded product.
