To more completely and neatly deblood fish including blood penetrated into tissues in deblooding fish.
Deblooding is carried out by reducing the movement function with retaining a living state by injuring the spinal cord 10 of a fish 1, inserting a hose 16 into the mouth of the fish 1 reduced in the movement function, bringing the fish 1 to take oxygen through the gills 6 by feeding oxygen-containing fresh water or sea water from the hose 16 and cutting the blood vessel 10 of the fish 1. Finally the fish 1 dies, but the deblooded amount is increased than conventional one. Instead of feeding water by the hose 16, the fish 1 suppressed in the movement function may be put into water having water flow and placed to direct the mouth toward the upstream side. In addition, after deblooded, the fish 1 is kept living for a predetermined period of time by gill-breathing.
