Abstract:
To easily move a recorded program from a hard disk to a removable storage medium.
According to a program reservation database, a designated program is recorded on the hard disk by an HDD control part 11. A unique number for individually identifying a video tape is written on a leading block of the video tape, and its category is recorded on the next block. When the video tape is loaded, information of its category is read and when there is recorded information of the same category on the hard disk, the recorded information is additionally recorded on the video tape.
